My interpretation of foldout vinyl packaging + slipcase for "Silence Yourself," the debut album by Savages.

 

A transparent slipcase with angular, frosted and mirrored shapes encase the album. The erratic design emphasizes the lyrical and sonic energy of this record. To create the fractured letters, cutout card stock letterforms were photographed with a focused light to project the distorted shadows. The results were then digitally fractured to mimic a frenetic explosion.
